Adopt Sparkles-- Our Pet of The Week104.9 The Edge, The Animal Protective Foundation and Toyota of Clifton Park present our Pet Of The Week! Name: Sparkles Age: 4 years Sex: Spayed Female Breed: Cattle Dog Mix
Sparkles, a 4 year old Cattle Dog mix, is a very quiet, interactive and adventurous gal. She loves to romp and play, but she’ll come back to you to walk at your side or just to get a good “tushie” scratch. She’s also very giving with her kisses! Sparkles is the perfect size – just over 30 pounds – not quite a lap dog, but not a huge dog who will drag you down the street either. The 16th Annual Fireplug 500 Walk for Animals is on Saturday, September 20th! Also check out our NEW online auction September 3 – 8 featuring dozens of amazing items – start your holiday shopping early! For more info, please visit www.animalprotective.org. The APF is in crisis, and we need help! We’ve had some great adoptions, but dozens more cats are coming through our door every day. During the month of August, all cat and kitten adoptions are half price. We have extended our adoption hours and the shelter is now open every Sunday from 12 to 3. You can also visit us at Country Acres on Route 50 in Burnt Hills every Saturday from 10 to 2. All animals deserve a loving home. Please adopt today, and encourage others to do the same. The 16th Annual Fireplug 500 Walk is September 20th! Learn more & sign up for APF e-news at www.animalprotective.org
