Schoharie school district third-grader Carly Waters and her sister Emma will be guests on Thursday’s “GMA Strahan and Sara” show at 1 p.m. on ABC television.
They will be recognized by former NFL quarterback Jim Kelly of HearStrong.
Carly designs and sews stuffed fabric lemons to raise funds for hearing aids, which her younger sisters Emma and Molly need due to their hearing loss, according to the school district.
Carly is applying her artistic talents and caring personality to raising money to cover the costs of hearing aids, as well as promoting awareness, Superintendent David Blanchard said.
