Times Union Editor Rex Smith and a panel of experts discuss workforce development at the next Times Union Leadership Luncheon titled, “Shaping the Workforce of Tomorrow,” at 11:45 a.m. Monday, May 13, at the Hearst Media Center in Colonie.
Panelists include Karen Coleman, deputy commissioner for Workforce Development and governor’s office adviser on Workforce Policy and Innovation for the New York State Department of Labor; Dan Cullen, regional director for the Workforce Development Institute, a statewide nonprofit that works to grow and keep jobs in New York state; and Roger Ramsammy, president of Hudson Valley Community College and co-founder of the new C5 consortium of local community colleges that is focused on creating workforce development projects.
